The Crown has built an enviable reputation for good food, sourced from regional producers in Shropshire, from traditional dishes to adventurous house specialities, as well as fresh fish and home made FAT chips all available daily.
Shropshire Restaurant - Decorated and furnished to provide a perfect setting, our new restaurant extension now adds a further 30 places for diners to enjoy our cuisine whilst overlooking the views of rural Shropshire.
Cooking is up-to-date and imaginatively prepared with seasonal menus, specialising in local meats and game all using fresh local produce from Shropshire. Book your table in the New Restaurant here
Poachers Restaurant - Character and atmosphere with exposed beams, stonework and large inglenook fireplace, the Crown at Hopton’s main restaurant is beautifully decorated and furnished to provide a perfect setting for a fine dining experience.

Rent Room Restaurant - Relax in The Crown at Hopton’s ‘Rent Room’ Restaurant just off the bar, offering traditional pine kitchen style seating with relaxing views of Shropshire. Serving daily menus, lite bites and specials – ideal for walkers, cyclists and sightseers needing lunch whilst enjoying a day out in Shropshire.

Accolade winning chef Kevin Clark, who achieved 2 AA Rosette’s at The Crown at Hopton before leaving to broaden his knowledge and experience has returned after 4 years to take the Crown to the next culinary level.
